Tim Proctor Illustrations

Looking through Tim Proctor’s website portfolio, I saw that he’s done some rather nice sepia tone paintings that feature the Millennium Falcon.

The first is this superb image depicting the Millennium Falcon being chased by two Tie Fighters in the Asteroid field as seen in The Empire Strikes Back.

The second, also from The Empire Strikes Back, is of the Space Slug. Admittedly, the Falcon isn’t really a feature in this painting, but it is there.

I think that the sepia tome really adds to the feel of the work, much like the grey of Michael Grimaldi’s Battle at Yavin painting. Both were commissioned pieces of art, which explains why we haven’t seen them before. I might commission something myself as I really like the style.

Check out Tim’s website for more information.
