A Mock up Millennium Falcon frame in Steve Sansweets collection

Rebelscum recently did a couple of articles on the grand reopening of Steve Sansweet’s Rancho Obi Wan. There were a few bits that caught my eye, but this mock up of the skeletal frame for the full size Falcon used for filming blew me away.

You can see it’s a fair sized model as that SpecPlate on the wall is three feet across.

Check out the full photos on Rebelscum here and here. I’d thoroughly recommend taking a look.

28/11/12: Mike recently took a trip to Rancho Obi-Wan and took some photos of this model. He was able to confirm that it is a mock up for the full size Falcon as used in the ice Hanger of Hoth.  He took a few nice photos and i have taken the liberty of posting them here.

Again, thanks to Mike for the photos.
