Adidas X Ultra Boost Trainers

I’ve been seeing these new Adidas Millennium Falcon Ultra Boost trainers a lot lately. I’ve never been a lover of training shoes and while I’ll confess that they look pretty good, I think the retail price of $190 is a little pricey.

Still, I know that trainers are quite collectible in their own right, so I suspect these’ll only increase in value once they’ve sold out.

There are a few nice details on these. Not only do you get a blueprint image on the sole and sympathetic white and grey colouring, there’s a nice piping at the back to match the bright glow of the Millennium Falcon’s engines along with Han Solo’s “Never Tell Me The Odds” line from The Empire Strikes Back.

There are also left and right plan blueprints in the inside of each of the shoes and the tongue of the left one has a nice decal of the Falcon on it.

There are several other nice Star Wars designs that are worth checking out and you can pick these up from the Adidas store for $190 (approximately £160 in the UK).

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.
