Original Trilogy prints by Raid 71

I first heard of Raid 71 (AKA Chris Thornley) when I bought his “Here Goes Nothing” print a few years ago. It’s a great print and a welcome addition to my collection. This year, Chris has focused entirely on the Millennium Falcon for a series of prints based around the Original Trilogy. Released on 03/06/19 there were only 200 sets available.

What a Piece of Junk

Raid 71 ANH

Bucket of Bolts

Raid 71 ESB

Not a Scratch

Raid 71 ROTJ

I think “What a Piece of Junk” is my favourite.

Each print is 18″ by 36″ and priced at a very reasonable $50 each or $140 for a set. Typically, I was on holiday and completely missed out. I suspect that such a low edition size will make these pricey on the secondary market.

Check out his raid71 website.

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.
