“Make Your Own Millennium Falcon” by Guillermo Ortega

So, I seem to have made a statement about not collecting Lando’s Millennium Falcon and yet here I am posting more things for it. 🙂

This image of Lando Calrissian’s Millennium Falcon by Guillermo Ortega is the cover art for Metropoli Magazine (a Spanish newspaper supplement), and has to be a must for Millennium Falcon collectors, right?

Made as an imaginary model of Lando’s Millennium Falcon, it’s a great image (and I suspect that the magazines are long sold out.)

Guillermo is based in the UK and his background is in comics, although he has been working for the Metropoli magazine for a little over two years. The idea came from his art director, Rodrigo Sanchez.

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related stuff as it increases. Well, that was the plan but it now seems to be more about cataloguing any Millennium Falcon item in general now so that i can come back to them later.
