I’ve been meaning to post this for a while, but haven’t found the time. My friend, Brian Heath, pointed me in the direction of this rather interesting little item. “Incredi-builds” is a series of books and small wooden models based on animals, buildings, cartoons etc. This year, they got a Star Wars license and of course, the Millennium Falcon is one of their kits.
I ordered a couple from Amazon, but you should be able to get them from any good bookshop for around $20.
I haven’t made the model yet, but my first impressions are good. The book is nicely bound and is a really nice addition to my small, but growing Millennium Falcon Library. The booklet is 32 pages and is packed with photos and information about our favourite smuggling ship.
Other books in the series are R2 D2
I strongly suggest to mount the cockpit on the starboard of the Falcon. Don’t let them seduce you to follow instructions and mount it to the side of the dish. Use the Force ;D
Agreed. That photo really bothers me.
Know what else is funny? The pictures of the TIE-Fighter and R2-D2 do feature the same laser cut pattern. I’d say marketing really screwed up on those details. Let’s hope it only stays with a false image
