This amazing 38″ model of the Episode IV version of the Millennium Falcon is by modeller Bernard Szukiel and it came to my attention this afternoon. It’s taken him four years to build and what’s amazing is that it’s made out of paper.

Well, it’s 99 percent paper as it also has LED lighting in the mandibles, cockpit and gun wells. The model itself is 38″ long.
Here are some close up shots.

About mffanrodders
A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.
Hard to believe it actually is paper work, I had to look really hard to determine whether it can be but I still can’t determine it for sure. It probably comes close to the studio model concerning detail but I think the rear engine part looks a bit awkward in proportions, same for the cockpit section.
But this is hell of a work though – respect!!
