Millennium Falcon by Matt Dye

In May last year the Hero Complex Gallery ran an exhibition called “Righteous Rides And The Dudes Who Ride Them”. The show was based around well known cult vehicles and their owners. Matt Dye created this rather bright print for the show.

BluntGraffixDetailThe print itself is 18″ by 24″ and was limited to a rather small edition size of 25 pieces.

I didn’t find out about this until earlier this year when i stumbled across Craig Drake’s “Falcon”, so i haven’t been able to acquire one. They crop up every now and then on ebay.

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.

This is an amazing print. It is screen printed, and is really top quality. There are two versions, one with the blue background shown, and a second with red (matching the red border color). Be patient, one will show up for a reasonable price. As soon as mine arrived, I knew this needed framing.
