News: Disney Die Cast toys

Rebelscum have just posted the news that Disney are planning to release a series of Die Cast metal toys.

“There have been several different Star Wars vehicle lines over the years like the Micro Machines, the Action Fleet Series and the more recent Titanium Series. Now Disney is creating a new highly detailed Diecast Vehicle line and we got to see several of the prototypes. It is important to note that these are in fact prototypes and not the finished product, so any mistakes of inaccuracies you might notice are not going to be produced that way. The smaller vehicles will be $9.95 while the larger vehicles will be $19.95. Each vehicle will feature some moving part and all will be cast in metal.”

This is great new as all I’ve seen recently is the new QMX key ring and Hasbro’s Star Wars Command game. I don’t know when these will start appearing in the shops, but they must be close if they’re showcasing them now.

Check out the rest of the lines prototypes here.

might be a indication that we get to see the classic Falcon in the new movies, so that we don’t need to worry about a J.J. modernization of its design
