I stumbled upon Girard Roundtree’s work this morning on Comics a go go’s blog. These postcard size prints date from the early ninties and probably done for the release of the Special Editions.

They’re quite nice and i’ll definately have to look into getting the Falcon ones. I like the fact that each post card has a little commentary on the scene painted.
Jawa Trader has a page that shows his other genre work. Again, thanks to comics a go go for the heads up.

About mffanrodders
A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.
These are nice, but am I the only one thrown by the “May you live long and prosper”? These look like they were printed in 1993, well after Spock’s most famous tagline was established.
I just took it to be a merger of both Live Long and Prosper and May The Force Be With You. Sort of the best of both worlds.
