Millennium Falcon Woodcut Prints by Bisonworks.

Bisonworks (Oliver Flude) had three woodcut prints relating to the Millennium Falcon on Etsy this week. If i’m right in thinking, woodcut prints are carved in wood first, then the image is inked and put to paper to create the print. Can’t be easy. They’re of varying detail and image quality.

The first one is of the Millennium Falon at the Battle of Yavin. It’s the one that caught my eye initially, but my GF doesn’t like it. She thinks it’s a pork chop. 🙂 I think it’s kinda cute though.

The next one is of Han, Chewie, Ben and Luke in the cockpit of the Falcon. This one has a lot more detail and is a better print IMO.

The final one is of Ben in his showdown with Vader on the Death Star. You can see Luke holding off the enemy outside of the Falcon in the background.

At £25 ($41), they’re not cheap so i’m undecided as to whether to get a copy.

About mffanrodders

A long time Science Fiction fan and Star Wars collector, my collection focus has taken a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship and I thought that i'd start this blog to keep track of my collection of Millennium Falcon related stuff as i progress.
