Star wars Insider recently had an article on artists who have been involved in the artwork used in the the Essential Guide to Warfare book. One of the artworks that really caught my eye was Dave Seeley’s “The Burning Of Kashyyk”.

Here’s a nice details shot of the Falcon:

Dave’s work is mostly digital which is then printed and oil paint is then used to touch up some detail. Nice work. The Original sold for a cool $6800. Looks like i’ll have to settle for buying the book. 🙂

About mffanrodders
A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.
That is one sexy MF! This is a tremendous tribute – great work. Linking to you is a delight.
