How’s this for a fantasy item? Harrison Ellenshaw worked as a Matte artist for Lucasfilm on bothe Star Wars and The Empire Strikes back. His site has original four Star Wars inspired paintings for sale.
“Escort to Cloud City” interests me the most. Acrylic on canvas board its 11″ by 14″, so its a respectable size. Its available for a cool $6, 650. Man, this is number 1 on my lottery wish list. 🙂
“Boba’s Special Cargo” is incredible and at 24″ by 30″, its a wonderful size. This work is inspired by a Matte painting that Harrison actually created for ESB. The down side is that it’ll set you back a huge $31, 150.
“Taun-Taun in Snow” is the smallest (8″ by 10″) and the cheapest ($2300).
“Sandcrawler” is the only Star Wars painting for sale and it’s beautiful. (I must send a link to Madbrownz to see what he thinks.) This one’s also the same size and cost as Taun-Taun in Snow.
Beautiful work Harrison, if only it weren’t so out of my league. 🙂
I wish I could have a room in my house dedicated only to these paintings. The Boba Fett one is fantastic.
Oh yeah, it’s a stunner alright. It’s awesome that the painting was based on one that he did for Empire.
Yeah that does make it awesome. I can’t believe that the Boba Fett one cost more than a Toyota though.
🙂
