Another Tommervik Falcon, but this one’s different

I’ve posted here and here about Tommervik’s paintings and i have to say that as a whole, i quite like them. They’re different, original and give a whole new interpretation to the Millennium Falcon that i find refreshing. Here’s a new Falcon painting that’s completely different from all the others and i think it’s kind of cool.

There’s a juxtaposition (i’ve always wanted to use that word) between the angular style of this painting compared to the soft, round edges of the Millennium Falcon proper. I can’t afford it, but yes, i rather like it. You can make Tommervik an offer here on ebay. It’s up for $1, 000, 000 at the moment, but i’d imagine that you could haggle him down. 🙂

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.

Yeah… not my favorite of his. But I am digging the new AT-AT pieces and the r2 getting peeled is kind of cool. I just don’t need any more art for the office right now though! Maybe if he made something of a SW femme fatale or something.

Are you thinking about getting this one?

I have a lot of irons in the Millennium Falcon fire at the moment. (As well as the Nerdadjacent laser etched plate and metal work from Jason Newitt i’m also getting the Attakus Millennium Falcon and Deathstar Hall Diorama at $100 a month.) Perhaps later.
