Strange Star Wars collecting

I came across this very interesting site today called strange Star Wars collecting. It’s a site dedicated to Star Wars bootlegs, knockoffs, and other weird or obscure collectibles in the world of Star Wars collecting and well worth a look in my opinion.

Anyway, i did a search on the Millennium Falcon and the site had a few rather interesting items that i hadn’t seen before:

The first bootleg item was this electronic game with the Millennium Falcon clearly on the face.

The next interesting Falcon related item was this sleeping bag. OK, it’s not a direct rip off, but the resemblence is uncanny. I’m not sure what Freud would say about this version of the Falcon though. 🙂

This Asian Math book is my favourite of the items as it’s definately the Falcon, no argument there. I’d love to track one of these down.

The last one was was about a series of Galaxy Empire figures that clearly had the Millennium Falcon being chased by Tie Fighters and a Star Destroyer from The Empire Strikes back.

There didn’t seem to be an entry on the Star Force Falcon, so i’ve left a comment. It’s a site that has a rather nice spin on Star Wars collecting and one that i think is pretty interesting to most collectors.

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related stuff as it increases. Well, that was the plan but it now seems to be more about cataloguing any Millennium Falcon item in general now so that i can come back to them later.
