Back in 1996 Galoob released a series of three gold plated classic pairings based on their Star Wars Micro Machines line. Limited to an edition size of 5000, they were priced up at $99 a set.
I first became aware of this set looking through Mike’s collection photos. I think that they’re quite nicely displayed and although I do want them, i don’t “need” them so i’m quite prepared to wait until one comes along at the right price.
