Escape from the Death Star by G.W. Hutchins

This Star Wars print of the Millennium Falcon at the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi by G. W. Hutchins has to be my favourite find for a while. Quite stunning in my opinion.

This one on ebay is already framed and is 17.5″ by 13.5″ (in frame). Damn, my list of things to buy is getting longer and longer. (Still, the discovery is sometimes just as much fun. 🙂 ) Unfortunately, i started bidding before i discovered Geoff’s web site. 😦

It’s worth checking out his website too as there are some other spectacular pieces. (Star Trek and aviation specifically.) You can also purchase prints from his website for £20 each for the UK Only. (Do you want me to pick one up for you, Mike?) There’s also a canvas print signed by Dave Prowse and the original work is for sale. Out of curiosity, I’ve contacted him to see how much they are.

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.

  1. Interesting the if you buy three, it’s only 5 pounds more.

Let’s see what his response to your inquiry. I AM interested, but on the fence.

  2. Andy Brabazon-Smith says:

This might interest you, I have an original one (not print) that I am willing to sell, my brother won it in a TCG tourny. He has relinquished it to me and I have no interest in keeping it. It will be going onto eBay but if you want to make a private trade let me know.
