Millennium Falcon Cork board from 1980

I’ve seen icruise’s cork board for his Jabba the Hutt collection and never really considered that there would be one for the Falcon. I found one today on ebay that looks brand new. At $75, it’s a bit too rich for my blood, but it does look nice. 🙂

Here’s the link if anyone else fancies it.

02/09/11: The guy dropped his price to a much more reasonable $28 so i bought it. This thing is a LOT bigger than i thought it’s be and is a very welcome addition to my collection. 🙂

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.

Gotta tell ya, I have one of these that a friend found at an antique store about a year ago. Mine was about $30. I was stunned when I saw the price they were asking for this one. I really like mine. The colors are bright and it is in very good shape. But this is just not the right price for this item. But then again, most of this seller’s stuff is overpriced.

Yeah, that’s what i thought. Shame, i would’ve liked this.

I see you’ve added a 2010 gallery to your website. Looking forward to seeing 2011. 🙂 (Everytime i look at DB94, i realise how miniscule my collection is and how much is left to get.)

I’ve never seen this one. It looks great, but I would agree that it’s overpriced. The most I’ve paid is $20, and most were under $10. You just have to be patient and keep an eye on ebay.

I don’t see where he mentions a size, but it looks to be the same size as my big Jabba’s Palace one, which is 23″ by 17″. It’s really quite an impressive size.

Yeah, i like the look of it and now that i know that it exists, i’ll want one. $75 is just far too much though. I’ve added it to my watch list and if it’s still available next month, i might see if he’d take an offer. 🙂
