Like many others, i used to love making model kits as a child (althought I was an apalling modeller). There have been a few models based on the Millennium Falcon over the years, but my favourite was always the Cutaway version released by AMT. There haven’t been many attempts at the inside the guts of the Falcon which is a shame. The AMT version was only the front left quarter, but it was a great effore IMO and if you’re a good modeller, then you’d get a superb finished product.

I’ve got this same kit sitting on my shelf, it’s used and was started, hopefully I can find the time to finish it.
I don’t have one yet. I don’t have the talent to do it justice. 🙂
Nice touch to depict the training scene. Where did you get those figures? The box contains only Chewie, Luke and Han (with helmet).
Hello tin an. I’m afraid that I don’t have this model (it’s on my to buy list if I can track ken down.). This particular model was completed by a modeller from the real prop forum.
I did not realise. But thanks for the quick reply. I continued my investigation there and found the builders site (in German) here: http://tinyurl.com/k2m6pju for anyone who wandered the same thing I did. As it turns out it is a combination of scratch building and Star Wars miniature figures from another source.
