10179. Lego’s Ultimate Collectors Series Millennium Falcon

Ok, I seem to be on a bit of a Lego kick at the moment. Still, this will be the last one for a while anyway. Well, at least until Lego release their next Falcon.

Now this is the Daddy of all lego kits. At 5, 000 pieces and over three feet long, it’s the largest model that they’ve ever released and included 5 mini figs. (Han Solo, Chewbacca, Obi Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.) I have seen this back in 2007 and remember being very impressed. It was always on my list of things to get. Unfortunately, at approximately £350 at the time, it was never that high up the list. Oh why didn’t i decide on focus collecting sooner? This has now been deleted and you can’t get it anywhere at a reasonable price. Damn!!!

This is definately one of those releases that has moved up to Grail status. Hopefully, Lego will decide to re-release it with some different packaging. ’til then…

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.
