Finemolds Japan

Finemolds Japan have released some incredible models of the Millennium Falcon over the years. Their 1:72 version runs at about $250 but has over 1000 pieces to it and is considered to be one of the most detailed versions of the Millennium Falcon ever.

Again, this is another Falcon that’s on the “To Buy” list. This has been deleted, but you can till get it on ebay. I have the Sideshow release of this and it does look superb, but i still need to get hold of one of the unmade kits for my collection.

Recently, they’ve also released a 1:144 version for about £50 of my Earth pounds. Rather typically, after my recent discovery of the steel Falcon model, someone on the Rebelscum forums notifies me of another version of the 1:144 with a silver finish.

About mffanrodders

A long time Science Fiction fan and Star Wars collector, my collection focus has taken a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship and I thought that i'd start this blog to keep track of my collection of Millennium Falcon related stuff as i progress.

1000 Pieces is a pretty huge model. I think the biggest one I have is just under 500…

Oh yeah. This is a highly regarded version of the Falcon, second only to the Master Replicas version at the moment. Of course, i’d never attempt to make such a thing. (I remember my model boats when i was a boy. Whoops. )

I guess you really like the Millenium Falcon, just a hunch 😉
I wanted one badly when I was a kid!

Yeah. My collection is getting out of hand. too much stuff and not enough soace to store it. I had to narrow it down to a specific focus so why not the Millennium Falcon? I could never resist it anyway. It occured to me that most other focuses were character based and this was unusual. Besides, who doesn’t love the Falcon. 🙂
