There is another. Mike Demaine’s collection.

Some time ago, Sergiu from the Rebelscum forums posted a link to another Millennium Falcon focus collector called Mike Demaine at Yodasnews.com. WOW!!! is all that i can say. On the negative side, It’s a little off putting and quite daunting to think that someone else has a collection like this. One that i can’t hope to match. On the plus side, it’s something for me to aspire to. I’d be interested to make contact to compare notes.

I’d like to show him photos of my scrapyard sculpture to see what he’d make of that. Anyway, if you want to see more, go to http://www.mikedemaine.com/ click on docking bay 94. You can’t fail to be impressed if you like Millennium Falcon goodies.

Update 26/07/10: i contacted Mike via his web site and let him know about a couple of bits that he might be interested in. (That’s if he doesn’t have them to begin with.) Anyway, hopefully he’ll see i’m not a nutter. I’d be interested to get some comments from “the” Millennium Falcon collector. Fingers crossed eh?

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.

Exactly. Even though yours is smaller you have a few unique pieces that he probably doesn’t have anything even close to.

    Don’t give up =D

Thanks, i am genuinely interested to see what he’d made of both the Scrapyard one and the carved one. it’s pretty nice knowing that there’s someone else out there with this focus too.
