You can take the man out of the boy…

Another recent ebay purchase and one that i’m sure i can link to my Millennium Falcon collection.

I don’t know about you guys, but Star Wars, for me will always be synonymous with the toys that i grew up with in the seventies. I may be a [grown?] man now and i may have decided that my collection is more detailed and expensive and [let’s be honest] incredible, but i’m still a boy pretending to be a man. That’s why these two Hasbro figures of Han Solo and Luke Skywalker at their Gunner Stations on the Millennium Falcon brought a smile to my face.

Sure, the Code 3, Attakus, Master Replicas, Sideshow and [soon to be] eFX pieces are incredible. I love them to death and will always argue their technical excellence, attention to detail and  sheer artistic brilliance, but deep down we all know that the real excitement will alway lay with the toys. 🙂

(Also, I’m not sure, but i think that i saw a Hasbro figure of Han Solo on the MF Landing ramp. If anyone knows what that figure is, can they contact me? Thanks.)

About mffanrodders

A keen Star Wars collector since 1977, my collection focus seems to have taken on a turn towards Han Solo's iconic Star Ship. Why the Millennium Falcon? No one else seemed to have one at the time and it was fair to say that i had difficulty resisting the higher end models. My friend, icruise from Rebelscum has a superb blog for his Jabba the Hutt collection, I thought that i'd start this blog to chart my own collection of Millennium Falcon related collectibles as it increases.
